Spring eld: A Real-Time Parallel Simulation of Mobile Telecommunications

چکیده
This paper describes project Springgeld, a real-time distributed simulation of a mobile telecommunications network. Springgeld permits real-time viewing and modiication of the simulation and its parameters, which is ideal for capacity planning and performance modeling. An object-oriented, distributed simulator was implemented in Java 1 and speedups of up to three times were obtained.
